Customize the default Search box Sharepoint

There are many ways to customize the default search box and to show our own styling.

These are the default css use we can modify like this

apart from this

You can edit the default functionality using SharePoint Designer.

You can create a user control and add this on master page.

You can add content editor webpart and can write own html code.

You can also create your own webpart for search box.
